duck mother sits on it for several days. Finally, it broke and a big ugly duck
came out. The duck mother looked at him in surprise. He is so big and very
gray. He doesn't look like the others at all. He is like a turkey.
When duck moms bring
children to the pool for their first swimming lesson. Large gray ducks splashed
and paddled about as good as other ducks. "It's not a turkey girl. He is
my own son and quite handsome, "said the mother proudly. However, other
animals do not agree. They hiss and make fun of it day after day. Even his
brothers and sisters are not very good. "You are very ugly," they
beat. The poor little duck was very unhappy. "I wish I looked like
them," he thought to himself. One day, an ugly duckling ran away and hid
in the bushes. Sad ducklings live alone in winter and snow.
Finally, the spring flowers
start to bloom. As he swam in the pool, he saw three large white geese swimming
towards him. "Oh dear. These beautiful birds will laugh and peck me
too," he said to himself. But the swans did not attack him. Instead, they
swam around him and caressed him with their bills. When the ugly duckling bent
its neck to speak to them, he saw his reflection in the water. He could not
believe his eyes. "I am not an ugly duck but swim beautifully," he
exclaimed.
He is very happy. From that
day on, he swam and played with his new friends and was happier than he had

Somehow he felt his body become strong and healthy. He then walked along the
beach. He found a river with clear water around the beach. Then Ompung
Silamponga thought of staying in the area.

at a hilltop with a very beautiful view. Then he could also find out that there
were residents who lived at the foot of the hill. With a feeling of happiness,
he unconsciously shouted loudly, "Lappung! Lappung! Lappung!" (In the
Tapanuli language, lappung means broad).
Shortly after, Ompung
Silamponga came down from the hill and opened a new village there. He gave the
name of the place "Lappung". It turned out that in the vicinity,

Asal usul kota Lampung
Kemudian mereka bergoyang tanpa
arah di tengah laut selama berhari-hari sehingga persediaan makanan hampir
habis. Sesekali ketika mereka menemukan tanah, mereka berhenti untuk mencari
makanan dan kembali untuk melanjutkan perjalanan.
Suatu hari, Ompung
Silamponga jatuh sakit. Kondisinya semakin buruk dari hari ke hari. Namun, ia
tetap bertekad untuk melanjutkan perjalanan. Sementara itu, kedua saudara
lelakinya sangat lelah sehingga mereka memutuskan untuk berhenti berlayar.
Tiba-tiba, sebuah rakit
terlihat dilemparkan ke dekat rakit mereka. Tiga bersaudara yang sehat
memutuskan untuk berpisah dengan Ompung Silamponga. Mereka membawa saudara
mendorongnya sehingga membawa mereka.
Ompung Silamponga
mengayunkan dirinya dengan rakitnya. Tubuhnya menjadi semakin lemah. Setelah
sekian lama berguling-guling, rakit menabrak benda keras. Ompung Silamponga
kemudian bangun.
Dia memberi
nama tempat "Lappung". Ternyata di sekitarnya, ada juga sekelompok
orang yang hidup sangat terbelakang. Ompung Silamponga menjalin hubungan baik

and prayed there at night hoping that God would listen. Prayers were heard and
Betoro Bromo promised to give them many children. However, they must promise
that they will sacrifice their youngest child in return.
Roro Anteng gave birth to a
child, then another. In the end, Roro Anteng and Joko Seger had 25 children.
Soon it was time to sacrifice the youngest child, Kusuma, but parents could not
do it. They try to hide it, but an eruption occurs and Kusuma falls into the
crater. There was silence before they heard a voice. "I have to be
sacrificed so that you will all stay alive. From now on, you must arrange the
annual ceremony offerings on the 14th Kesodo (twelfth month of the Tengerese
calendar) ". That's Kusuma's voice. The Kusuma brothers hold sacrifices
every year. Instead of humans, they collect fruits, vegetables, rice, and meat
to go to Dewa. And this has been done from generation to generation until now.

Seger bersedih karena mereka tidak memiliki anak. Mereka memanjat puncak gunung

Prabu.
"Aku tidak mau
memakainya! Itu jelek!" Teriak sang putri. Lalu dia melemparkan kalung
